This newspaper cartoon clearly shows the clash between Punjab government and governor of Punjab, because governor Punjab Salman Taseer belongs to Pakistan Peoples Party and he always criticize government of Punjab and its policies.
So this is why Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and President Asif Ali Zardari are in trouble because they have to go on with both governor and chief minister Shahbaz Sharif.

This newspaper cartoon describes the scene of Nawaz Sharif and Zardari’s meeting at dinner which was held in the honor of Nawaz Sharif from Asif Zardari in President’s House.
As usual Zardari asked Nawaz Sharif to support government and its policies but Nawaz denied and ask him to restore judges and change policies which were formed by Musharraf’s government.
Both Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are leaders of Pakistan’s two largest political parties it would be much batter if both get agrees on some polices and work together to put out Pakistan from current crisis.

“We have to take unpopular decisions to seek solutions of economic, energy and other crises,” Zardari said. But what kind of unpopular decisions President Zardari is talking about? This newspaper cartoon explicitly describing a condition of poor common man in Pakistan, imagine a person who is already living hand to mouth, could he afford unpopular or strict decisions from his own democratic government any more?
Our president is talking about taking unpopular and bold decisions to pull out country from present crisis it would be much batter if our nation could come out of this crisis without bothering a common man anymore.

This newspaper cartoon shows that IMF has decided to trap Pakistan with its financial package. Diplomatic sources in the US capital say that the Fund has agreed in principle to help Pakistan avoid defaulting on its foreign debt repayments but a final decision can only be taken by its governors. The IMF has estimated that Pakistan has unmet funding needs of around $4 billion and needs some extra cash to meet its other urgent requirements. The Fund is willing to provide up to $6 billion.
But what will the next situation for Pakistani public? Could they bear more inflation? Could they bear more surcharged in their utility bills?

This newspaper cartoon is pointing out the falling economy of Pakistan, but one should keep it in mind that this economic crises is global and almost every country is facing such problems, government of Pakistan should make right moves to prevent their voters and public from poverty and hunger as they had been elected by the public votes, now its time to do something practically for a common man rather then making decisions in air-conditioned rooms.
