A new discovery has been made by a group of researchers at University of Edinburgh to slow down or stop diseases like multiple sclerosis and cancer.
This would be called a genetic treatment of cancer and the team found hundreds of genes interacting and they will now try to find weak spots to halt tumour growth.

Exoplanet researchers discovered a new earth-like planet and named it Gliese 581 e, the planet Gliese 581 e is about twice the mass of our Earth. It has been discovered with the HARPS spectrograph attached to the 3.6-meter ESO telescope at La Silla, Chile.

There is good news for cricketer Sachin Tendulkar fans that his wax status is about to place in Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, London on his birthday 24th April 2009. Sachin Tendulkar is the first cricketer whose statue is taking place in that wax museum.
