Open letter to Shahbaz Sharif from Gujranwala farmers

As the Punjab Food Department (PFD) has reduced the wheat procurement target for Gujranwala district, so farmers of Gujranwala district are facing problem in selling their wheat.
We received an email from one of our respectable readers Mr. Mubeen Iftikhar and he wants us to highlight this issue so that the problem of our farmer brothers could solved. Following is the email and an open appeal to Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif from Gujranwala farmers.
I am writing this email in order to bring an important issue in your notice to get it highlighted through media. I am a resident of a small village of Gujranwala district and most of the population of this region is dependent on agriculture to earn bread and butter but unfortunately poor farmers of this area are facing a variety of problems regarding sale of their wheat. wheat purchasing center Warpal Chatha teh Wazirabad, dist Gujranwala has been taken over by a local politically influential personal Nasir Nazeer Chatha, a close relative of federal food minister and an active worker of Q league. With the mutual involvement of management of this center Mr. Nasir encourages buying of wheat only from his party members and his friends, because of this act poor farmers are being ditched and they are failed to get jute bags (bardana). Every day farmers go there, stand in the queue till evening and then return unsuccessfully because Mr. Nasir spends a good amount of time at wheat purchasing centre and monitors this whole process. This situation has resulted in mental chaos and farmers are forced to sell their wheat to middle men on less price. Middle men purchase it at their desired price and get it stored in galamandies and then later on sell it at higher price. I request you to highlight this issue and let the concerned government people know about it. I request Chief Minister and secretary Chief Minister to take quick and serious action and make process of wheat selling easily and approachable for miserable farmers.

aaj kal mulk jin marahil se guzar raha hai is ka andaza awaam k siwa kisi ko nahi .siyasat daan apne iqtidaar ki jang larne main masroof hain .mukhtalif masail awaam k samne paish kar k awaam ki tawaju mahangayee se hata rahay hain .is se becharay awaam k halaat sudharne wale nahi hain. mulk main jis tarah ka b hukamat ho awaam ko is se koi matlab nahi ho ga ghareeb logon ko cheeni aata daal se matlab hai .govts badalne se ye masail hal nahi honge .balkay koi aisa hal nikalna chahye k mehgayee corpution ka khatma ho .
