November 12th, 2008 by The Online Reporter

Pakistan will not allow the United States to launch ground or air strikes on targets inside its territory and will take up the issue with the new US administration, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani told the National Assembly on Tuesday.
“The message of parliament is loud and clear, that Pakistani territory should not be used for terrorist activities and our sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected by all,” he said. The senators assured the prime minister of their full support in the US Senate for enhanced co-operation between the two countries and said US CENTCOM chief General David Petraeus would also plead Pakistan’s case before the US administration.
