Petrol Price reduces again by Rs 8 per liter

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Ministry to reduce petrol price by Rs 8 per liter, diesel by Rs 5 per liter and the prices of other petroleum (POL) products by 5 percent. Sources told that new prices would be imposed from Monday (December 1st), adding that the ministry had amended the summary and sent it to the Finance Ministry for final approval. Justice Iftikhar welcomed by Attorneys and lawyers

Thousands of Attorneys, lawyers, members of political parties’ and people from civil societies gathered at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Friday and warmly welcomed disposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry after his return from 12 days U.S visit.

During his visit to the US, the deposed chief justice received the Harvard Law School “Medal of Freedom” and lifetime membership of the New York City Bar Association. Rawalpindi-Islamabad lawyers observed courts’ boycott on Friday.
